Rails shared hosting with cpanel is kind of hard for developers. I am in search of the gems that can be installed on the hosting account. Do you know any good place for the rails shared hosting? Hosting that allows SSH acces for hosting and installing rails gems?

I am in the process of learning Ruby on Rails and things have been going smoothly - up until I tried to deploy one of my test applications to my shared hosting account.
I use Host Gator and was able to successfully create a new Ruby on Rails app via cPanel and run it.

Think that you will precisely not regret having looked at Kvchosting.com - their ssd hosting plans can be ok for Ruby on Rails hosting.
I like this decent hosting provider and can highly recommend their hosting services to others.
Double Thumbs Up!

QHoster.com will serve your demands. Its long history in this business gives the reasons to treat it as the host with highly redundant servers and quality support.
Their server locations are UK, USA (FL,NJ, TX & CA), Mexico, Canada, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia, Singapore.

It seems to me so many companies are mentioned in this thread and the OP can choose the best one for your needs.

Some are suggesitons. But I am not sure if there is a way to execute the content through the hosting site. Because I am not much aware of how to do this with the server here.
