Off-site optimization or link building is one of the most debated SEO tasks. The basic goald of link building is to get other websites to link to yours. If you think about ranking the top of search results,  then links will work like your voter. Links will say that your website deserves to be ranked highly. Getting links with keyword anchor text will help you rank specifically for the keywords that are linked to.
So, now the question is , how do you get links ? There are lots of way to do it. Some of them are good and some of them are not so good. There are three kinds of links and link bulding techniques and those are..
  • Organic Links – These are links you don’t have to ask for, and they are the best kind. Especially if you can get them on sites with high authority such as major news outlets and other well-recognized name websites.
  • Whitehat – This basically stands for good, quality link building.
  • Blackhat – This stands for spammy, low-quality link building (you should avoid this).

Organic Links :
An organic link is a link from someone else’s website, blog or social account where they linked to your site without being asked to. You had nothing to do with this other than provide great content that they felt was worth sharing with their readers and/or followers.

Whitehat :
Whitehat SEO referst to the usage of optimization strategies, techniques and tactics that focus on a human audience. It completely follows search engine rules and polices.

Blackhat :
Black Hat SEO is most commonly defined as a disapproved practice that nevertheless could increase a page's ranking in a search engine result page (SERP). These practices are against the search engine's terms of service and can result in the site being banned from the search engine and affiliate sites. . . . . So you should avoid this method.

Yes link building I have heard of this before but I dont really know how this works periodically but what I think is that its may involve some minor promotion of a particular set of links or do you have some other explanation better than this?
